Job Summary:
Seeking a experienced Surgical Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for travel assignment in the OR unit at a busy hospital facility. The ideal candidate will support surgical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques and optimal patient care. This role requires adaptability to fast-paced environments and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by preparing instruments and sterile supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure all equipment functions correctly throughout operations.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Document surgical procedures and sterile supplies utilized during operations.
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to facilitate efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold current CST certification with at least 2 years of OR experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic/joint surgeries and NBSTA/DORA certifications.
• Possess trauma experience and familiarity with Level I trauma protocols preferred.
• Be flexible with shift hours, including day/evening and call responsibilities.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, accountability, and professionalism in fast-paced settings.
