Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care on IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through attentive monitoring and intervention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment promptly and accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards consistently.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work every other or every third holiday as scheduled.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
