Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in IMC, PCU, or step-down units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments and interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to acute and post-acute needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor vital signs, interpret lab results, and recognize signs of patient deterioration promptly.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
• Document clinical interventions accurately within electronic health records.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse licensure in the appropriate state or jurisdiction.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or relevant nursing degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or step-down units.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• CPR and ACLS certifications preferred or required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
