Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to patients, assessing and treating breathing disorders under physician supervision. Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced respiratory therapies and interventions following physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as blood gases and pulmonary function tests.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and self-care techniques.
• Document all procedures and patient progress accurately in medical records.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist within a clinical setting.
• Possess current AHA BLS certification.
• NBRC credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
