Job Summary:
Assess and provide high-quality nursing care to patients in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare teams while adhering to facility policies and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and manage clinical care in stepdown or intermediate care settings.
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, including management of dysrhythmias and titration of IV drips.
• Maintain and manage peripheral lines, PICC lines, and ensure proper line care.
• Adhere to patient ratios, float between campuses as required, and comply with schedule and shift assignments.
• Complete mandatory compliance requirements, including background checks, education verification, and P/F EKG tests.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and document patient care accurately.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cardiac telemetry or stepdown units.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health record systems.
• Have current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications; cardiac tele experience preferred.
• Possess strong competency in dysrhythmia management, peripheral line care, and titrating medications.
• Be flexible to float across different campuses and work 3x12 night shifts.
• Clear background check and education verification without open cases.
