Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), closely monitoring their condition and delivering appropriate interventions to ensure optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and establish individualized care plans based on clinical data.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in patient status.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in relevant state.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
