Job Summary:

An experienced IR/Special Procedures Tech is required to provide specialized imaging and procedural support within our Cath Lab and Special Procedures units. The role involves working closely with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality patient care during complex cardiovascular and diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist in advanced cardiac and cerebral angiograms, stent placements, and balloon angioplasty procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot GE Innova imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and procedure flow.
• Document procedure details accurately within Meditech and MacLab EMR systems.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications.
• Demonstrate competence in Special Procedures and GE Innova systems.
• Prefer candidates with RCIS certification.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in IR or Special Procedures radiology.
• Possess strong critical thinking, teamwork, and patient-focused skills.
