Job Summary:

The IR/Special Procedures Tech will assist with interventional and specialized imaging/procedures, supporting safe, efficient patient care. This role requires strong neuro/stroke exposure to help prepare for and support time-sensitive clinical workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare interventional procedure rooms and required equipment for neuro/stroke cases.
• Assist clinicians during IR/special procedures by maintaining sterile fields and following established protocols.
• Support patient positioning, preparation, and monitoring consistent with care team instructions.
• Verify procedure readiness by confirming supplies, imaging parameters, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records related to equipment readiness, procedure support, and needed supplies.
• Respond to on-call coverage needs to support evening and overnight service demands.

Qualifications:

• Possess prior neuro/stroke experience supporting interventional or specialized procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with IR/special procedures workflows and assisting during active cases.
• Maintain current credentialing required to work as an interventional/special procedures technologist (as applicable).
• Follow sterile technique, safety standards, and universal precautions at all times.
• Display strong attention to detail in equipment setup, documentation, and patient preparation.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary care team during time-sensitive situations.
