Job Summary:
Provide specialized occupational therapy services to patients within a 130-bed healthcare facility. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans aimed at improving patient functionality and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical, motor, and cognitive abilities to determine treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Document patient progress and modify interventions accordingly.
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic exercises and strategies for recovery.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state.
• Possess prior experience working in a skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Be adaptable to a Monday through Friday schedule with alternate weekend duties.
