Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to provide home health services across designated areas in California. The role involves delivering patient care, managing caseloads, and ensuring compliance with state licensing and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer therapeutic treatments and assist patients with mobility and rehabilitation exercises.
• Document patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
• Travel within assigned territories to deliver services per scheduled visits.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, including handling COVID+ and PUI patients.
• Maintain current licensure, certifications, and complete required documentation punctually.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current CA PTA license.
• Possess a minimum of one year of professional experience in therapy.
• Be willing to travel outside the service area and work weekends if needed.
• Maintain valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and registration.
• Demonstrate proficiency with documentation and electronic health records.
• Hold current BLS certification and all required immunizations, including TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, and Flu.
