Job Summary:
Provide skilled physical therapy assistance to patients in a busy skilled nursing facility, supporting recovery and functional independence. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes and concerns to the supervising clinician.
• Support patients in exercises and therapeutic activities to promote mobility and strength.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment adhering to facility standards.
• Educate patients and families on post-therapy care and home exercise programs.
• Comply with all licensing, safety, and confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in California.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Possess a strong commitment to patient care and recovery.
• Prior experience working in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and clinical situations.
