Job Summary:

Seeking a Radiology Interventional/Special Procedures Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role involves patient positioning, imaging, and ensuring quality documentation for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment such as IR, Special Procedures, CT, MRI, and Cath Lab systems to acquire accurate diagnostic images.
• Confirm patient identity and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and compliance.
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols, including BLS and ACLS certifications, and ensure radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures meticulously within electronic health records (EPIC) and medication systems.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality patient care during imaging procedures.
• Float to designated units or campuses as needed, applying documented competencies to support department operations.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least one year of recent IR or Special Procedures experience in a hospital setting.
• Possess current ARRT(R), BLS, ACLS, and South Carolina licenses.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR and Omnicell medication systems.
• Be able to work 5x8 shift hours (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) with one night of call per week and weekend coverage.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to different hospital units as required.
