Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced IR/Special Procedures Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures within a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves operating specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to procedural protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment for IR and special procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and compliance with safety standards.
• Assist physicians during procedures by providing necessary imaging support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and equipment parameters in EPIC or other systems.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines, including certifications such as ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS.
• float to different units or campuses as required, ensuring competency and qualifications are met.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT R certification and valid SC license.
• Possess at least 1 year of IR and specialized procedures experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC documentation system and imaging equipment.
• Be current with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have experience working in IR, cath lab, or other specialized procedural settings.
• Capable of working flexible shifts, including one night of call per week and weekend coverage.
