Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech to support a tertiary hospital with a 5x8 daytime schedule. The role involves assisting with general IR cases, including neuro IR procedures, and requires active certification and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot IR imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments and supplies for each case.
• Assist radiologists during IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document procedures accurately in the hospital’s electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely completion of cases and adherence to safety standards.
• Comply with radiation safety requirements and manage radiation badges appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R) certification and BLS credentials.
• Possess at least 1 year of IR tech experience, preferably with general and neuro IR cases.
• Maintain active SC radiology license or ability to obtain one prior to start.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using IR imaging modalities and supporting equipment.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and ability to work within a fast-paced hospital environment.
