Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide pediatric occupational therapy services for patients primarily aged 0-3 years within the Infant Child Development (ICD) program. Focus on assessing and treating delays or deficits in activities of daily living, neuromuscular, sensory-integrative, cognitive, and psychosocial skills to promote developmental progress.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to identify developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's diagnosis and progress.
- Deliver occupational therapy services, including therapy sessions, education, consultation, and caregiver support.
- Document clinical findings, treatment progress, and discharge planning in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and family members to facilitate optimal care outcomes.
- Participate in discharge or transition planning to support ongoing development and community integration.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Possess at least one year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
- Maintain a valid Kansas Occupational Therapy License.
- Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 90 days of employment.
- Demonstrate current CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider.
- Possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License.
