Job Details

Job Summary:

Provide pediatric occupational therapy services for patients primarily aged 0-3 years within the Infant Child Development (ICD) program. Focus on assessing and treating delays or deficits in activities of daily living, neuromuscular, sensory-integrative, cognitive, and psychosocial skills to promote developmental progress.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to identify developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's diagnosis and progress.
• Deliver occupational therapy services, including therapy sessions, education, consultation, and caregiver support.
• Document clinical findings, treatment progress, and discharge planning in accordance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and family members to facilitate optimal care outcomes.
• Participate in discharge or transition planning to support ongoing development and community integration.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Possess at least one year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Maintain a valid Kansas Occupational Therapy License.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 90 days of employment.
• Demonstrate current CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider.
• Possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License.
