Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide critical respiratory care in a long-term acute care hospital setting. The therapist will support ventilated and trach patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and compliance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor and evaluate patient respiratory status, adjusting therapy as needed.
• Manage ventilator settings and provide care for trach patients.
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and update care plans.
• Maintain and ensure proper function of respiratory equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Respiratory Therapist license and relevant credentials.
• Possess recent experience in a long-term acute care or vent/trach patient care setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work night shifts with every other weekend rotation.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
