Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Respiratory Therapist to support NICU and adult patients in a hospital setting. The role involves utilizing advanced respiratory care skills to deliver high-quality patient treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies including CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP to neonatal and adult patients.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as Hamilton C1, V60 ventilators, and Hamilton MR1.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech documentation system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit-specific guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RRT credential and at least 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience.
• Demonstrate NICU experience with skills in ventilator management and high-acuity care.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (or obtain after hire).
• Be able to perform advanced procedures on neonatal and adult patients.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be willing to work 3-12 hour shifts including every other weekend.
