Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to patients, assessing and treating a variety of respiratory conditions in a hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' respiratory status and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in NICU, PICU, or pediatric critical care units.
• Possess current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Must have valid state licensure or pending licensure with eligibility for temporary credential.
