Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and patient safety. Supervises nursing staff and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring vital signs and patient responses.
• Assess patient conditions, analyze data, and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Implement and oversee care interventions, ensuring protocols are followed and patient safety is maintained.
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and medication adherence.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate care activities across disciplines.
• Participate in discharge planning and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Have at least two years of recent nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in acute or telemetry care.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
