Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols. Supervises and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions by collecting relevant health data and analyzing assessment findings.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans aimed at achieving desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care activities and delegate duties appropriately to nursing staff and support personnel.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective, and continuous patient care.
• Document patient care activities, observations, and progress in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• EPIC electronic health record experience required.
• Ability to work day shifts with flexible scheduling; holiday RTO may not be approved.
