Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, ensuring their safety and comfort while adhering to established standards and practices. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status by collecting and analyzing relevant clinical data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery by delegating tasks to appropriate team members and ensuring seamless communication.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, care procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in discharge planning and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in an acute care, telemetry nursing setting.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Demonstrates critical thinking, strong clinical judgment, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
