Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, ensuring adherence to established standards of practice. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient data and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and health maintenance.
• Implement nursing interventions, monitor patient status, and modify care plans as needed.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring proper workflow and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, medication, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care post-visit.

Qualifications:

• Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum two years recent experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical data and develop appropriate care plans.
• EPIC electronic health records experience required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and supervisory skills.
