Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse with strong acute care skills and travel experience to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to nursing excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize patient care for high-acuity ER patients, including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and pediatric cases.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and execute interventions according to facility protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including RTs, techs, social workers, and physicians.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within the Epic electronic health record system.
• Triage ambulance patients at the bedside and adapt to a high patient turnover environment.
• Maintain compliance with safety and clinical standards, including IV placements and advanced lines.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent ER experience, with travel background preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR and inpatient/outpatient trauma protocols.
• Possess strong critical thinking, fast decision-making, and communication skills.
• Have experience with pediatric, trauma, and stroke patient management.
• Certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, and additional trauma or pediatric training are highly preferred.
