Job Summary: Provides acute emergency nursing care to patients in a high-volume ER setting, ensuring timely and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities:

• Assess patients promptly upon arrival, collecting relevant health data to determine acuity level.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with established protocols and patient needs.
• Administer emergency interventions, medications, and treatments accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate care activities with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on condition management, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and policies.
  Qualifications:
• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least two years of recent emergency or acute care nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification and obtain ACLS and PALS certifications as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record systems.
• Exhibit excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Successfully complete hospital fire and life safety (HLFS) training.
