Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal nursing care in the NICU, ensuring the safety and well-being of critically ill and premature infants. Manage complex clinical tasks with a focus on patient-centered care and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess neonatal patients continuously to identify changes in condition and respond promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and record vital signs, medical histories, and progress notes in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate families about neonatal care, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, infection control policies, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Certification in BLS and NRP required at time of submission.
• NICU experience with neonatal patient care preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts within a 4x12 schedule.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Must have or obtain Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Certification (pending approval possible).
