Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU, ensuring the safety and well-being of premature and critically ill infants. Coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and assess neonatal patient conditions, including vital signs, weights, and development milestones.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate and support families, providing guidance on infant care and developmental needs.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control procedures, and hospital policies to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Active NICU RN license in the state of practice, with license verification required prior to start.
• BLS certification mandatory, NRP certification required at submission.
• Previous NICU experience, demonstrating clinical proficiency with neonatal patients.
• Strong knowledge of neonatal nursing care, including feeding protocols and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, schedule includes working weekends and some holidays.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
