Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit provides specialized patient care in a high-acuity setting. The role involves closely monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Document patient information and care activities thoroughly and accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
• Comply with all safety, compliance, and clinical protocols.

Qualifications:

• License as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-year recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Ability to demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of hospital protocols, patient safety procedures, and electronic medical records.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Must meet travel and licensing requirements, including valid driver’s license outside 50 miles of the facility.
