Job Summary:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Unit, specializing in cardiac and neuro patient care. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing services to monitor and support critically ill patients within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor patient care, including EKG interpretation, IV starts, and chest tube management.
• Receive and prioritize patients following procedures such as heart cath, pacemaker, ablation, and cardioversion.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and safety protocols.
• Provide education and updates to patients and family members regarding treatment and progress.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with required state licensure.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry, step-down, or cardiac unit.
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation, IV placement, and chest tube management.
• Excellent communication and quick learning abilities.
• Dependable with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
