Job Summary:
Seeking a Medical Surgical/Tele Registered Nurse to provide skilled patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires working day shifts and the ability to handle a diverse caseload with attention to detail and compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient status frequently to identify changes or complications.
• Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health records, preferably using Altera.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on specific health conditions and post-discharge care instructions.
• Maintain compliance with travel and facility policies, including drug screen and documentation deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with appropriate certifications in hand prior to start.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical/Tele environment.
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred.
• Ability to complete all required lab work within 72 hours of acceptance.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work day shift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) on 3x12-hour shifts.
