Job Summary:
The MS RN will provide specialized medical-surgical and telemetry care on a 36-hour per week day shift. The role involves managing patients with vascular disease diagnoses and supporting a fast-paced, private and semi-private patient care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities.
• Chart patient progress and care plans accurately using Epic electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective patient treatment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition, especially for vascular disease cases.
• Adhere to patient ratios, maintaining a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Comply with travel and licensing regulations, including onboarding and module completion within specified timeframes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state licensed RN license with current license in hand at time of submittal.
• Have 2+ years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience, preferably with telemetry.
• Possess travel experience or willingness to travel, with a focus on vascular or cardiovascular units preferred.
• Be able to complete onboarding modules within 48 hours of contract signing.
• Demonstrate strong charting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have effective communication and teamwork skills for patient-centered care.
