Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Tele unit, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and patient safety protocols. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered services within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and assessments based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor patient conditions, including wound management, catheter care, and overall assessments.
• Utilize clinical equipment such as EPIC and other electronic health systems for documentation and order entry.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication.
• Float between designated units/departments, including tele units if necessary, maintaining flexibility.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, certifications (BLS), and facility-specific procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid WV or compact state nursing license.
• Possess unexpired BLS certification.
• Demonstrate previous experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Have a minimum of 1-year recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting.
• Maintain an active driver’s license outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with no call requirement.
