Job Summary:
Provides direct nursing care to adult patients in a 37-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit specializing in cardiac monitoring, post-transplant, and acute adult care. Responsible for maintaining patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols and physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid WV or Compact RN license; pending license submissions accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1+ years within the specialty.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through AHA.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently in a fast-paced, diverse adult care environment.
• Ability to float within scope as needed to meet unit requirements.
• Must be at least 100 miles from the facility with a permanent address in that radius.
