Job Summary:

Provide urgent patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring timely and coordinated treatment for diverse medical emergencies. Support patient stabilization, assessment, and documentation in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and prioritize patient needs based on severity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and record progress accurately.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including resuscitations and code responses.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Pass the NC State Board of Nursing licensing exam and hold an active RN license.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
