Job Summary:
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Ambulatory Care provides patient care that supports medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. This position focuses on outpatient clinical services, emphasizing compassionate patient interactions and efficient workflow management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical support procedures including blood draws, injections, and immunizations within scope of practice.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in exam rooms to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Educate and provide instructions to patients based on physician guidance.
• Requisition supplies and manage medical records, including referral forms and lab documentation.
• Support patients before, during, and after exams or treatments, ensuring their comfort and understanding.

Qualifications:

• Valid LVN/LPN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in outpatient or ambulatory care settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical procedures such as blood draws and injections.
• Maintain current BLS certification (AHA).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
