Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Level III NICU RN to provide specialized care for critically ill neonatal patients. The candidate will deliver advanced nursing interventions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive care for neonatal patients in the NICU, utilizing all respiratory support modes and advanced procedures.
• Monitor vital signs, conditions, and responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Perform specialized procedures including PICC insertions, bronchoscopy assistance, and swallow studies.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license, verified via Nursys within the past two weeks.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a Level III NICU setting.
• Maintain current BLS and NRP certifications; AHA or ARC approved.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management, line insertions, and neonatal emergencies.
• Capable of performing complex neonatal procedures including LISA, VCUG, MRI, and line placements.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts with no call responsibilities and every other weekend availability.
