Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in the Level III NICU setting. Ensure safety, support, and treatment for newborns requiring complex medical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess neonatal patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer respiratory support using all respiratory modes and manage ventilators.
• Perform advanced procedures including PICC line insertion, bronchoscopy, and swallow studies.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California registered nurse license with Nursys verification issued within the last 2 weeks.
• Possess at least 2 years of NICU nursing experience in a Level III NICU setting.
• Maintain current BLS and NRP certifications, approved by AHA or ARC.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all respiratory modes and pediatric clinical procedures.
• Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
