Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide specialized obstetric care on a night shift. The role involves caring for antepartum, postpartum, hysterectomy, and obstetric patients while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to obstetric patients, including antepartum, labor, and postpartum management.
• Monitor fetal well-being and respond to fetal distress using fetal monitoring protocols.
• Assist with hysterectomy patients, providing post-surgical recovery care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and care provided.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of L&D and postpartum nursing experience.
• Valid state or compact nursing license.
• Certification in BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring.
• Experience with obstetric, gynecologic, and surgical patients.
• Basic med-surg skills with travel experience preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible scheduling.
