Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in an intermediate care unit, progressive care unit, or step-down unit. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and implement care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and identify evolving clinical needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in IMC, PCU, or step-down units preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
