Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse for a temporary assignment in the ICU/PCU/Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly using the Epic electronic charting system.
• Float to other units as needed, supporting the nursing care team during high census periods.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, competency assessments, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license, including compact licenses, in the state of employment.
• Ability to pass an online EKG/Dysrhythmia competency assessment prior to start.
• Recent experience in ICU, PCU, or Stepdown units preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts.
• Availability to work alternate weekends and holidays.
