Job Details

Job Summary:
Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients’ anatomy.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including maintaining sterile techniques and radiation safety standards.
• Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures and positioning them accurately.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond promptly to any issues.
• Document procedure details accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and image quality.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Possess at least 13 weeks of recent CT technologist experience.
• Be BLS certified and demonstrate strong patient care skills.
• Have experience with GE CT scanners preferred.
• Be familiar with EPIC EHR systems and documentation protocols.
• Be able to work sun-Wed from 2030 to 0700, including weekends.
