Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The role involves weekend shifts, including overnight and day hours, with the possibility of using two staff members to cover shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
• Interpret physicians’ scanning instructions to ensure precise image acquisition.
• Administer contrast materials safely and effectively in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow strict radiation safety procedures to protect both staff and patients during imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Possess NYS licensure as a radiologic technologist.
• Maintain ARRT certification with current ARRT credentials for contrast injections.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in radiologic imaging, including CT procedures.
• Be certified in Advanced MRI techniques (preferred but not required).
• Demonstrate physical ability to maneuver imaging equipment and assist patients as needed.
