Job Summary:
This position is for a CT Technologist responsible for performing CT imaging procedures in a hospital setting. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, operating imaging equipment, and adhering to safety protocols during imaging processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans accurately following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure quality images and patient safety.
• Operate Philips CT scanners and maintain proper documentation of imaging procedures.
• Administer injections for contrast studies in accordance with NY certification and safety guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with all certification, licensing, and safety requirements, including EPIC documentation.
• Collaborate with medical staff to meet patient care needs and schedule imaging sessions effectively.

Qualifications:

• Certified as an ARRT CT technologist with NY injection certification.
• Possess a valid NY state license or proof of application with an expected processing time of 6-8 weeks.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical CT experience, with EPIC experience from the past 2 years.
• Demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture, certified by NYS DOH.
• Reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle, with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including call, holidays, and every other weekend.
