Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to variable patient loads and able to work flexible schedules including weekends and night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer immediate and ongoing care to ER patients, prioritizing critical cases.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias in a high-pressure environment.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Adhere to all protocols for trauma, stroke, cardiac, and pediatric emergencies.
• Comply with hospital policies for high patient ratios and weekend scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid and active Michigan RN license; pending licenses should include ETA.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS (by AHA), PALS, and NIH certifications; TNCC and ENPC preferred.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of Level I trauma ER experience.
• Have EPIC charting experience; additional experience with procedural sedation and triage is preferred.
• Exhibit flexibility to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule and accommodate high patient ratios (1:5-6; up to 8 possible).
• Complete all required modules pre-start with no pendings beyond contract start date.
