Job Summary:
Seeking a licensed Registered Nurse with MI licensure to provide comprehensive emergency care in a high-volume ED setting. The role involves managing a diverse patient population with varied presentations, supporting trauma protocols, and performing critical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize incoming patients based on acuity and presenting complaints.
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies adhering to protocols.
• Perform advanced procedures such as central line care, phlebotomy, and sedation administration.
• Monitor and interpret patient data, including ABGs and cardiac rhythms, managing complex cases like trauma and stroke.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver efficient patient care and safety.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in Epic and Pyxis systems.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active MI RN license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent ED experience, with trauma and pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias and ventilated patients.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to float across units and adapt to varying shift demands.
