Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center, managing acute patient needs in a fast-paced environment. Ensure patient safety and compliance with all clinical and certification requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival, ensuring timely intervention.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols.
• Document patient care accurately within the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive emergency care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing trauma, pediatric, and complex patient cases.
• Maintain compliance with certification and licensing requirements prior to start date.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active state RN license, with MI license active by start date.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of Level I trauma experience.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH.
• Have recent experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Demonstrate availability to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule, with acknowledgment of high patient ratios.
• Preferred experience includes continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, and triage.
