Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapy Assistant provides supportive therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to help patients regain independence in daily activities. The role involves implementing therapeutic plans and ensuring patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing therapeutic treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient responses and progress.
• Prepare treatment areas and assist patients during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Proven experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
