Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med-Surg unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring and medication administration. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Amiodarone.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor EKG rhythms and identify arrhythmias.
• Document patient data accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with team members, including unit secretaries and techs, to coordinate patient care.
• Follow unit-specific policies, safety protocols, and dress code requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience, with cardiac/telemetry knowledge.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and EKG/cardiac rhythm identification.
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system and telemetry equipment.
• Ability to perform advanced cardiac procedures and identify complex rhythms.
