Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical surgical patients in a hospital setting. Responsible for patient assessment, treatment, and education while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition regularly.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a safe and compassionate environment, fostering positive patient relationships.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Proficient in patient assessment, IV starts, wound care, and drain management.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize care, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with telemetry, IV pumps, and other medical devices.
