Job Summary:

Provide clinical support and patient care assistance under the supervision of the endocrinologist. The role involves patient rooming, medication authorization processes, and effective communication with patients.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
• Obtain and document patient histories and vitals accurately.
• Assist with medication pre-authorizations and insurance clearances.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up instructions.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure proper charting.
• Support the healthcare team in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or CMA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of endocrine-related procedures is a plus.
• Certified or registered as required by state regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Knowledge of medical software and documentation protocols.
