Job Summary:
Provide clinical support and patient care assistance as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in a busy outpatient setting. Ensure efficient patient flow and accurate documentation while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients, preparing them for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs accurately
• Assist with radiology procedures and handle prior authorization documentation
• Scan, fax, and organize medical records to ensure proper recordkeeping
• Schedule patient appointments and manage communication via phone calls
• Support clinical staff in completing administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Current CMA certification with at least 18 months of relevant experience
• Proven ability to manage patient interactions with professionalism and compassion
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple administrative tasks efficiently
• Competency in radiology assistance and documentation procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with medical record systems and prior authorization processes
